Living Our Faith Through Service
At Saint Luke Catholic School, students learn that faith grows stronger when it’s lived out in service, compassion, and generosity. Community outreach is woven into everyday life here, helping students understand the needs of others and encouraging them to make a meaningful impact both locally and beyond.
service in action
Every SLCS student, from Pre-K through 8th grade, participates in outreach efforts that benefit our local and global community. These hands-on projects foster empathy, responsibility, and spiritual growth.
Our 7th and 8th graders complete service projects as part of their preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation, giving them a chance to put their faith into action with purpose and love. As a school, we also support the Guatemala HELPS Mission, providing vital resources to communities in need.
Ongoing Outreach Activities Include:
- Senior Lunches – Each grade spends time with seniors from our parish community, sharing meals, stories, and friendship.
- Grade-Level Service Projects – Each class sponsors or participates in a service initiative that addresses a real-world need.
- Recycling efforts
- Coat drive for the homeless
