Below is a step-by-step guide to help you through our rolling admissions process.

STEP 1: STAY CONNECTED

STEP 2: GATHER APPLICATION MATERIALS


Before beginning the application process, please gather the following materials for your child’s application:



  • A copy of your child’s Birth Certificate
  • A copy of your child’s Baptismal Certificate (if Catholic)
  • Custody Decree (if applicable)
  • Commonwealth of Virginia School Entrance Health Form
  • Virginia Immunization Exemption Form (if applicable)
  • Evidence of First Penance and First Eucharist (if applicable)
  • Current Report Card and two previous years' report cards (if applicable)
  • Most recent Standardized Test Scores
  • Scholastic Information (Records Request Form – provided in the application packet)
  • Teacher Evaluation Form (provided in the application packet)
  • Confirmation of Parish Registration (if applicable)
  • Note: Children must be five years old by September 30 to be eligible for admission to kindergarten.
  • $350 application fee (non-refundable)


STEP 3: SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION

Each applicant is evaluated to determine if SLCS is the right fit for their educational needs. Applications will be reviewed based on:

  • Standardized Test Scores
  • Report Cards
  • Teacher Recommendations
  • Admissions Testing (if applicable)
  • Interviews (for certain grade levels)


As we process applications, the following priority order will be used to evaluate all applicants:

  1. Current Preschool Students
  2. Siblings of Current Students
  3. Catholic, Registered Parishioners
  4. Catholic (Non-Registered Parishioners)
  5. Other Faiths

ONLINE ENROLLMENT & FACTS REGISTRATION

Once accepted, families must complete the online enrollment process and register for FACTS tuition management. Instructions will be sent to you upon acceptance. 

TUITION & FEES

All fees are non-refundable. Saint Luke Catholic School works with families who require financial assistance and will provide support as needed.

RECORDS & TRANSFERS

If your child is transferring from another school, please ensure the following records are requested:

  • Previous School’s Report Cards
  • Standardized Test Scores
  • Teacher Evaluations

IMMUNIZATION POLICY

Per Virginia State Law, students must have up-to-date immunizations before enrollment. Please ensure that the Commonwealth of Virginia School Entrance Health Form is completed and submitted prior to your child’s first day.

FINAL NOTES

  • Re-registration for Returning Students: Returning students must confirm re-registration by signing a binding contract to secure their spot for the following year. Additionally, families that have secured spots, must re-enroll in FACTS each Spring in order to set up tuition payments for the following school year.
