A safe and nurturing place to grow after the bell rings
SLCS’s Extended Day program provides quality after-school care from dismissal until 6:00 PM, offered on a daily, intermittent, or drop-in basis. The program is staffed by caring, trained adults at an approximate 1:10 ratio, ensuring every child receives individual attention.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Homework & Quiet Study Time — Supportive spaces for learning and reflection
- Free Play & Enrichment — Outdoor play, games, crafts, and social interaction
- Flexible Attendance — Available daily, as needed, or on a drop-in basis
- Licensed & Insured — Fully licensed by the State of Virginia and insured by the Diocese of Arlington
DETAILS:
- $12 per hour per student
- Billed monthly via FACTS
- Enrollment occurs at the beginning of each school year, with the option to participate on an as-needed basis throughout the year.
- The program follows the school calendar (no Extended Day on holidays or non-school days)
